Due to growth, we are looking for an IT Training Manager to create and implement an IT training strategy. Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, this role will redesign training procedures in collaboration with HR and L&D, update training materials and methods, manage IT Trainers, ensure effective inductions and ongoing training, and support user adoption of new solutions.

This is a hybrid role, consisting of 2 days working from home, 2 days in your base office, and 1 day based on business needs or travel to another office location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Development: Collaborate with the Director of IT and HR Senior Learning & Development Manager to design and improve training programmes, materials, and resources to meet the evolving needs of the organisation
  • Modernisation of Training Materials and Methods: Implement modern training techniques and tools to enhance the learning experience, including e-learning platforms, interactive modules, and virtual training sessions
  • Inductions and Ongoing Training: Deliver comprehensive induction programmes for new employees and provide ongoing training to ensure all staff are up to date with the latest IT systems and processes
  • Support for New Solutions: Work closely with IT and development teams to understand innovative solutions and ensure that training materials and sessions are updated accordingly
  • Team Managership: Provide Managership and support to the IT Trainers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver effective training sessions
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of IT training sessions across various locations, ensuring consistency and quality in training content and delivery
Skills, Experience, and Attributes
  • Proven experience in IT training and team Managership
  • Track record of designing and implementation of training strategy
  • Knowledge of current IT training methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective training programmes
  • Ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
