We are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate to join our Real Estate team in London. 

As aSenior Associate in the Real Estate Business Unit, you will be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the Commercial Division while maintaining a consistent level of excellent client service. You will support the Real Estate Business Manager/Sector Lead in achieving the Business Plans for the Real Estate Business Unit 

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective and efficient delivery of work on own matters, ensuring matters are profitable and work is resourced at the right levels.
  • Build effective relationships with own clients and / or referrers by exceeding client service expectations and where appropriate, support partners on the management and development of larger key clients.
  • Agree services being provided to clients with a clear basis for charging and pricing.
  • Demonstrate market/ sector knowledge to ensure solid legal advice is given.
  • Make decisions on client matters with minimal supervision, referring to partners where appropriate on highly complex or new areas of work
  • Develop a profile as an established expert
  • Input and implement ideas into the departmental business plan and demonstrate new business success from the BD activities
  • Expand network of clients and/or referrers and supports partners in pursuing target clients, intermediaries and contacts with a view to building a pipeline of new business
  • Work collaboratively with the team including supporting and supervising more junior members.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes
  • Solicitor 7PQE +
  • Previous experience within an Real Estate team and inparticularly strong development experience that can lead on development transactions
  • Experience of dealing with transactional commercial property matters
  • Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service
  • Experience of active involvement in BD activity
  • Proven ability to win new business through successful BD activity
  • Ability to manage a small team
