We have an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to join our highly regarded Contested Wills, Trusts and Inheritance Disputes team. The team and individual members are recognised in both Chambers and the Legal 500 for their expertise and the quality of their work, with several cases reported in the national press. We require a new member of the team to support the existing work of senior fee earners and to manage their own files, in a role that will encourage growth and development.

 

The ideal candidate will be 0 - 5 PQE and will support the work of our team in the South West, based primarily out of the Bath office. We are also willing to consider applications for solicitors with slightly greater experience.

 

Duties will include:

  • Assisting senior team members, taking responsibility for managing aspects of cases that are delegated and meeting deadlines
  • Managing your own caseload, under the supervision of senior team members
  • Building credibility with clients and developing your own client relationships through managing client expectations
  • Supporting the team with BD & marketing activities
Skills, Experience, and Attributes
  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Team player
  • Previous experience with contested wills and probate
  • ACTAPS or working towards this desirable
  • Ability to manage own files
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service
  • Keen interest in business development and marketing
